Mustang Sally is a model 390 Sport Fish 1985 Sea Ray custom vessel which experienced a $327,000 total retrofit and upgrades in 1991 that includes twin 3208 Cat diesel engines, 7KW Northern Lights Generator, high volume water maker, seven (7) diesel fuel tanks, full electronics for off shore ocean transits and custom lighted glasswork throughout vessel.  The perfect weekend getaway. Currently, Federal Documented and owned in a Delaware LLC.

Starting forward is the owners’ stateroom. All the cabinetry is customized with a Corian countertop, an etched glass backlit panel at the head of the centerline queen berth and a built-in TV on the starboard side. Aft to starboard, the guest stateroom features over and under single berths. The head is to port with a separate shower compartment. The head and shower doors are customized and feature more etched glass. The head sink is integrated into it’s custom Corian counter top. The head sole is also Corian, the ceiling is mirrored and all hatches are teak trimmed with teak-framed, hinged screens. Moving aft is the galley and main salon. On the Port side, the salon features a six speaker stereo with CD changer, a TV/VCR combo is in the forward port corner and an L-shaped settee with a custom made hi lo table beautifully trimmed with teak and Peruvian walnut leaves and a backlit etched glass center panel. Also to port is a built in ice maker. To starboard, additional seating is provided by two matching chairs with a custom cabinet between them to provide counter space and storage within. The salon sole and both stateroom are carpeted in Berber. The door and windows to the cockpit aft decks are all custom made and also feature more backlit etched glass panels. Also to port is a built in Issapro electronic monitor system with gauges for waste holding tank and fresh water tank. Hunter/Douglas Duette Blinds throughout salon- Champagne colored – replaced 2004.

Custom full size bedspread with matching pillow shams, two twin bunk size bedspreads with matching pillow shams, custom “Mustang Sally” towels, linens and towels.



The galley has been renewed with an eye to both quality and function. The counters are Corian. The sink is also Corian and integrated into it’s counter top. The electric three burner range is by Seaward and is supplemented by a Sharp microwave with turning plate. The large refrigerator/freezer ( new in 1998) is a dual power (12 voltDC/110 volt AC) Norcold. There is abundant storage in custom faced cabinets and bins, with carpeted linings. The floor in the galley also has two floor compartments for additional storage. Magna charcoal grill model A10-004, Mr. Coffee automatic coffee maker, Espresso coffee machine, Black and Decker toaster oven, stainless silverware with black handles for 6, stainless silverware with blue handles for 6, stainless steel kitchen pots, pans, lids and fry pans.


Mechanical / Engine Room

The engine room has custom built teak decking with hidden rod holders for eight fishing rods. All engine compartment hatches are hinged and have gas lifts. There is an oil changing system for both engines and the 8KW Northern Lights diesel generator. Five (5) batteries form the house bank and there is on additional emergency start battery. Three (3) 85 amp deep cycle engine start batteries. The propeller shafts are equipped with dripless shaft logs. Each engine is equipped with a trolling valve with controls on the fly bridge. There is a Flo-Scan system to monitor fuel level and fuel burn rate. There are electric fuel priming pumps for engines and the generator, trim tabs and a Glendenning engine synchronizer. The duel air horn has its own compressor. There are six bilge pumps located strategically throughout the boat, and a high water alarm system. The are dual engine exhaust blowers, florescent lighting system, Watermaker Inc. desalinator (makes 300 gallons per day ) , Fireboy Halon Model 1000CD refillable Automatic Extinguisher System. Two hydraulic pumps, one for the Watermaker and one for the steering system. Manual/electric turbo bailer pump.

Hydraulic trim tabs with zincs. Engine alarms, emergency start system, Racor filters and diesel heat exchangers, Slip stream exhaust/lift system mufflers, underwater propulsion relief system, seacocks with strainers on all underwater fittings, flush integral shaft logs – self aligning, custom stainless four blade 1 3/4 inch propellers, manganese-bronze rudders and struts, zinc hull plates.

Two(2) Sears Craftsman tool chests in generator compartment which includes a huge assortment of tools.

Various supply of engine oil (1 case), coolant, filters, seals and impellers.


Aft Deck

The cockpit has more custom detailing, with built in teak oil container storage racks, two built in tackle boxes, slide out chart/map compartment, electric air pump for horn system. On the aft deck, Corian counter surfaces, one with a sink integrated into the counter top, five full extension drawers, and a number of specially built storage cabinets each with its own custom deck boards to keep the contents up off the cockpit sole. There is also another, smaller Norcold refrigerator in the cockpit aft deck. There are two Schaefer double-spreader outriggers. Six fender holders with fenders with black canvas covers, and black canvas for all bimini tops, windows and cockpit aft deck completely covered. Four Telescopic deck chairs with custom fold away teak table and an 8′ collapsible canopy umbrella. Portable ultra cold 50 Igloo cooler. Two ship’s bells and two Pioneer stereo speakers with remote speakers controls.

Fly Bridge

The helm on the fly bridge features a custom console for the redundant instrument package, two Pompanette captain’s chairs for skipper and navigator, long bench seating for an additional four people, personal floatation jackets for eight, and halogen lights mounted on the anodized aluminum half-tower custom made by Shalt Shaker. The controls for the remote control spotlight are also located at the fly bridge command center. The steering is hydraulic with a tilt steering wheel.


Electronics/ Electrical

The electronics include three VHF radios, one ICOM and two Standard Horizons. Two of the VHF’s are on the fly bridge and one is in the main salon. There are two depth dounders, a Datamarine and International Marine, both mounted on the fly bridge. There is also a separate Furuno LC-80 fish finder. There are three GPS units, a Sitex, a Garmin and a Furuno. The Sitex and Garmin units are also chart plotters. Also included is a Roberston Autopilot, a Raytheon 24-mile radar, a Ratheon Hailer, water and air temperature gauges, a wind speed gauge, an Icom single sideband radio and a Furuno weather fax. The fly bridge has its own stereo and CD changer, powering 2 speakers in the aft deck and 2 speaker on the fly bridge.
